Bio
Dr. Preethi Mani is fellowship-trained in cardiovascular disease and advanced cardiac imaging with a special focus in valvular disease, structural imaging, and atherosclerotic heart disease prevention. She uses a variety of advanced imaging technologies, including echocardiography, cardiac CT, cardiac MRI, and nuclear cardiology to diagnose and treat cardiovascular disease.Dr. Mani earned her medical degree from Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio. She completed her internal medicine residency at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. She went on to complete her fellowship training in cardiovascular disease and advanced cardiac imaging at the Cleveland Clinic. Dr. Mani also holds a Master of Public Health in epidemiology from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health in Boston, Mass. She is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology. She previously served as a clinical instructor at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine and as an assistant professor at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center.She is excited to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care as a part of Texas Health Heart and Vascular Specialists, with a special interest and focus on South Asians, women, and patients with valvular disease.
