Bio
Dr. Leny Abraham is from New York originally. She is board-certified in both internal medicine and infectious diseases. She has served the health care needs of North Texans since 2020, providing care for patients with HIV, advanced AIDS, and other complicated bacterial infections. She is dedicated to delivering innovative therapies and treatments to those experiencing complicated infections and viruses that can compromise the immune system and bloodstream, including serious staph infections.
Dr. Abraham earned her bachelor’s and medical degree from the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Medicine’s accelerated medical program. She completed her internal medicine residency at Dignity Health - St. Mary’s Medical Center (now UCSF St. Mary’s Hospital) in San Francisco, Calif. She also received her fellowship training at UMKC School of Medicine. Dr. Abraham is a member of the American College of Physicians, American Medical Association and Infectious Diseases Society of America.
