Bio
Khalil Chamseddin, M.D., is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He specializes in advanced peripheral arterial disease, complex aortic aneurysm repair, cerebrovascular disease, and dialysis access creation and maintenance.
Dr. Chamseddin earned his medical degree at UT Southwestern, where he also completed a residency in general surgery and gained advanced training through a fellowship in vascular surgery. He joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2022.
The author of several peer-reviewed articles and presentations related to his areas of clinical interest, Dr. Chamseddin’s recent publications include a chapter in Cardiovascular Medicine and Surgery.
In 2022, Dr. Chamseddin received the Peter B. Samuels Award from the Society for Clinical Vascular Surgery.
