Bio
Kimberly Aparicio, M.D., is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at UT Southwestern Medical Center. She specializes in preventive medicine; newborn, adolescent, and women’s health; and general adult care.
Dr. Aparicio earned her medical degree at UT Southwestern Medical School and completed her residency in family medicine at Baylor Scott & White Health.
Prior to joining the UT Southwestern faculty in 2018, she was in private practice in Mesquite, Texas. She is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
Dr. Aparicio’s clinical and research interests include cancer survivorship, childhood obesity, global health, advocacy for women’s health needs after pregnancy, addiction assistance, and access for Spanish-speaking patients.
She is an LGBTQ-friendly clinician and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. In 2019, she received UT Southwestern’s PACT Service Award, which recognizes exceptional patient care and service.
